Teenagers from across the nation were officially awarded as this year’s 25 Most Remarkable Teens during a Special Sitting of the National Assembly on Monday, November 27th, 2023.

A total of six persons, hailing from the island of Nevis, were among those awarded for their respective achievements in their nominated category. The individuals were Ms. Khalia Huggins-Simmonds awarded in Academics and Leadership; Mr. Jadan Liburd recognised in Academics and Volunteerism, Ms. Tyianna Williams in Spiritual Commitment, Dylan Theron in Academics, Brianne Chapman in Leadership and Volunteerism and Mayur Daswani in Academics.

The ceremony saw brief remarks made for each teen by one member of the national assembly along with the presentation of the awards. Other categories which saw recognition including Entrepreneurship, Scholar Athlete, Performing Arts, Youth Activism and Technology.
