International Day of Persons with Disabilities celebrated annually on December 3rd, was designated to promote the full and equal participation of persons with disabilities and to take action for the inclusion of persons with disabilities in all aspects of society and development, according to un.org.
As the Federation joined the world in the observance, Federal Minister of Social Development, the Hon. Eugene Hamilton gave an address in commemoration of the day:
