“Transforming Food Systems: Youth Innovation for Human and Planetary Health”

That is the theme for International Youth Day.

St. Kitts and Nevis along with the rest of the world celebrated International Youth Day on August 12^th 2021.

Federal Minister of Youth and Sports the Hon. Jonel Powell made these comment in commemoration of the day:

According to un.org, The Focal Point on Youth selects a theme for the day often with input from youth organizations and members of the UN Inter-Agency Network in Youth development. It also organizes a virtual commemoration of the Day encouraging youth around the world to organize activities to raise awareness about the situation of youth in their country.
