‘Be part of the solution – help end plastic pollution’ that hat is the theme for ‘Plastic Free July’ for 2022.

The St. Kitts Destination Council (SDC) is inviting all citizens and residents to partake in the month’s activities as the federation observes ‘Plastic Free July’ 2022. 

‘Plastic Free July’ according to plasticfreejuly.org “is a key initiative of the Plastic Free Foundation that allows them to work towards the vision of seeing a world free of plastic waste.” 

Thus far for the month, the SDC has held a billboard unveiling on July 1^st, a Bag Distribution on July 2^nd and commenced a ‘spotted’ Campaign on July 4^th. 

St. Kitts Sustainable Destination Council Chair, Mrs. Diannille Taylor-Williams invited the public to be the solution to end plastic pollution during the unveiling of the billboard at the Kim Collins Highway at the airport roundabout:
