The Federal Government has extended congratulations on behalf of the people of Saint Kitts and Nevis to the people of Jamaica on its 64th Anniversary of Independence.

Jamaica’s Independence Day is celebrated annually on August 6th.

This year marks 64 years since the island gained full independence from British colonial rule.

Jamaica remains part of the Commonwealth and is also part of Caricom (Caribbean Community), along with SKN and several other countries.
