Two officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs have successfully represented Saint Kitts and Nevis at a high-level executive training programme in Austria.

Chief of Protocol, Ms. Shara Maynard, and Foreign Service Officer, Ms. Jazzee Connor, participated in the Executive Training Programme in Austria, Diplomacy and International Affairs for Caribbean Diplomats. The two-week programme was held from November 24^th to December 5^th, 2025, at the Diplomatische Akademie Wien, also known as the Vienna School of International Studies.

The programme provided in-depth training in diplomacy, international law, European affairs, leadership, negotiation, and public and digital diplomacy, while also examining current global and geopolitical issues.

The Government of Saint Kitts and Nevis has expressed appreciation to the Government of Austria and the Diplomatic Academy for the opportunity, noting its value in strengthening professional capacity and international cooperation.
