Prime Minister Hon. Dr. Terrance Drew has stated that the country’s economy is currently seeing an increase and an improvement in economic activity, following the deficit that the nation’s economy was grappling with in 2022.
According to Prime Minister Drew; employment, tourism and small business activity are just some sectors seeing ‘a pickup’ since the opening of the country following the Covid pandemic along with new initiatives put in place by his administration.
He added that with the additional projects expected to commence or be completed this year, the economic status is only expected to get better throughout the year. Here is Dr. Drew:
