The final two Discounted VAT Rate Days (DVRD) in St. Kitts and Nevis for 2022 are soon approaching. The days in question are scheduled for Friday, December 16th 2022 and Saturday, December 17th, 2022.

The first of the three (3) DVRD’s, which was last month November 25th, did not include the vehicle purchases.

The upcoming days however, will be inclusive of vehicle purchases.

On the Discounted Vat Rate Days, all VAT (Value Added Tax)-registered businesses charge value-added tax at the rate of 5 percent on the sale of goods only.

All tangible items that are presently subject to 17 percent VAT will qualify for the discounted VAT Rate.
