With the chant of “I see money coming” in the background, SKN’s Prime Minister and Leader of the People’s Labour Party (PLP), Dr. Timothy Harris told a raucous crowd of Convention goers on Saturday, the following: 

PM Harris, who is also the Minister of Finance, urged all to be financially-prudent:

Additionally, the Prime Minister said other measures such as: the reduction of gas prices at the pump and certain taxes on certain items of groceries will help to make the cost of living more manageable for all. 

The income support program will also be extended for a further 3 months, in addition to the 3 months mentioned in the 2022 Budget.

Under the program, qualified applicants (the unemployed) receive a monthly stipend of $1,000.00.
