President of the United States, Donald Trump, announced on April 2^nd, a 10% tariff (which is a tax on a good imported from another country) on exports from most Caribbean countries to the American market. St. Kitts & Nevis is among the countries that will be affected. As it relates to food security, the Prime Minister stated that his Government “continues work on the issue”.
