SKN Robotics Association travels to Switzerland for First Global Robotics Olympics Challenge

Seven youths and their chaperones have left the Federation to compete in the First Global Robotics Olympics Challenge in Geneva, Switzerland. 

 

Set to take place from October 13th to the 16th, the First Global Challenge is an Olympic-styled, international Robotics Competition that takes place in a different country each year.  

 

First Global invites each nation to send a team to build and program a robot to compete.

 

Teams work together to complete tasks in a game themed around one of the greatest challenges facing our planet in an effort to foster understanding and cooperation among the youth of the world as they use their abilities to solve the world’s problems. 

 

The competing team, accompanied by founder and Primary Mentor of Saint Kitts and Nevis Robotics Association, Dr. Ricardo Neil, is comprised of: Mr. Zhavier Shaw as Secondary Mentor, Ms. Patrina Perreira – Team captain, Mr. Lakshya Sharma – Engineer, Mr. Michael Shaw – Programmer, Mr. Anthony Li and Ms. Yakira Elliott. They departed the Federation on October 11th
