SKN still expected to receive vaccines from Covax facility, No “specific date” set

Her announcement came on the heels of St. Kitts & Nevis (SKN), receiving a donation of 20, 000 doses of the Oxford Astra Zeneca vaccine from India, on Monday Mar. 1st.

However, initially, in an address to the nation on Feb. 13th, Prime Minister, Dr. the Hon. Timothy Harris, stated that the Federation will receive 21, 600 doses of the AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine, by the end of February.

SKN received 2000 doses of the vaccine from Dominica, last month.

On January 6th, the Republic of China (ROC Taiwan’s) Resident Ambassador, His Excellency Tom Lee, pledged the Republic’s support of US $600,000 to assist the Federation to procure Covid-19 vaccines.
