Her announcement came on the heels of St. Kitts & Nevis (SKN), receiving a donation of 20, 000 doses of the Oxford Astra Zeneca vaccine from India, on Monday Mar. 1^st.

However, initially, in an address to the nation on Feb. 13^th, Prime Minister, Dr. the Hon. Timothy Harris, stated that the Federation will receive 21, 600 doses of the AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine, by the end of February.

SKN received 2000 doses of the vaccine from Dominica, last month.

On January 6^th, the Republic of China (ROC Taiwan’s) Resident Ambassador, His Excellency Tom Lee, pledged the Republic’s support of US $600,000 to assist the Federation to procure Covid-19 vaccines.
