SKN to see more action on BHS reconstruction site “in quick time”, says DPM

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education-St. Kitts, the Hon. Dr. Geoffrey Hanley, gave an update on the reconstruction plans for the new Basseterre High School on Mar. 6th. The original site on Victoria Road was closed in 2012 due to various health concerns with the old building, making the environment unsafe for students and teachers.

 

 

The millions invested was done under the previous Team Unity Administration.

 

Minister Hanley provided this information and stated:

The new Basseterre High School will feature 32 modern classrooms, spaces for arts and sciences, including two music rooms, four science laboratories, six computer labs and an auditorium with a seating capacity of 1,200 persons.
