The Government of Saint Kitts and Nevis has proudly welcomed a distinguished team of healthcare professionals from the U.S. Air Force as part of the Lesser Antilles Medical Assistance Team (LAMAT) 2026 Mission. This collaborative initiative highlights the strong and enduring partnership between Saint Kitts and Nevis and the United States, focused on strengthening healthcare delivery and building medical capacity across the Federation.

The mission also reflects continued cooperation with Taipei Veterans General Hospital, reinforcing the valued partnership among Taiwan, the United States, and Saint Kitts and Nevis.

During their deployment, the LAMAT team will provide specialized medical services in Emergency Medicine, Neonatal and Pediatric Care, Intensive and Critical Care, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Audiology, Physiotherapy, Medical Technology, Family Medicine, Radiology, Diabetes Education, and Nutrition. Their presence underscores a shared commitment to advancing the quality of care, enhancing professional collaboration, and ensuring healthier communities for all citizens and residents of the Federation.
