The St. Kitts and Nevis Bureau of Standards (SKNBS) has issued a consumer advisory highlighting the voluntary recall of two MorningStar Farms plant-based products due to the possible presence of plastic pieces in the food.

According to the advisory, the affected products are MorningStar Farms Buffalo Chik’n Nuggets (10.5 oz) with “Better if Used Before” dates of July 7^th and 8^th, 2027, and MorningStar Farms Hot & Spicy Sausage Patties (8 oz) with “Better if Used Before” dates of July 5^th, 6^th, and 7^th, 2027.

MorningStar Farms stated that no other products under its brand are affected. Consumers who purchased the recalled items are urged not to consume them and should discard the products.

The advisory was shared by the SKNBS to raise public awareness and encourage consumers to check any MorningStar Farms products in their possession against the recalled batches.
