On Monday September 26^th, the St. Kitts and Nevis Bureau of Standards (SKNBS), in collaboration with the Ministry of International Trade, Industry, Commerce and Consumer Affairs, launched the “Strengthening the National Quality Infrastructure: Training and Equipment for Conformity Assessment” Project.  

The new project is designed to ensure agro-processors are able to meet quality standards for international export and improve domestic food production.

During a brief launch ceremony, Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Agriculture et. al (St. Kitts), Mr. Miguel Flemming mentioned a major piece of equipment that will be used for the project:
