SKNBS launched project to improve food quality standards  

On Monday September 26th, the St. Kitts and Nevis Bureau of Standards (SKNBS), in collaboration with the Ministry of International Trade, Industry, Commerce and Consumer Affairs, launched the “Strengthening the National Quality Infrastructure: Training and Equipment for Conformity Assessment” Project.  

 

The new project is designed to ensure agro-processors are able to meet quality standards for international export and improve domestic food production.

 

During a brief launch ceremony, Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Agriculture et. al (St. Kitts), Mr. Miguel Flemming mentioned a major piece of equipment that will be used for the project:
