SKN’s Borders mainly opened for commercial flights

Chair of Nevis’ COVID-19 Task Force, Dr. Judy Nisbett.

At the time, she was responding to a question the VONNEWSLINE posed, regarding “if the Federation can expect cruise ships”, following the re-opening of the borders.

St. Kitts and Nevis’ borders reopened after seven (7) months, on Saturday, October 31st, 2020.

In relation to flights, the VONNEWSLINE spoke with the St. Kitts Tourism Authority (SKTA) and was told that the Federation did not receive any flights (from airlines such as American Airlines, etc.), but we have had chartered flights from smaller planes.
