As the St. Kitts and Nevis Citizenship by Investment (CBI) Programme transitions from a year of major reform, attention now turns to strategic priorities for 2026, reflecting a focus on “integrity, national security, transparency, and international cooperation”.
Priorities were outlined in the 2025 Year in Review, Quarterly Chairman Update.
Central to the agenda is the Residency Integration pathway, which emphasizes authentic physical presence, meaningful economic activity, and civic engagement. The Programme will enforce residency requirements rigorously, with transparent reporting on approvals, refusals, and revocations, ensuring citizenship reflects genuine links to the Federation.
Another priority is regional regulatory harmonization. The Citizenship by Investment Unit (CIU) will focus on “Working closely with regional partners and regulators to uphold shared standards.”
The Programme will also continue to foster international partnerships through the Investment Gateway Summit 2026, building on the success of prior global forums.
Additionally, the launch of Priority One, a concierge and civic integration service, will support new citizens beyond approval, guiding them in legal, fiscal, and civic compliance, and promoting meaningful long-term connections to St. Kitts and Nevis.
