SKN’s Gov’t announces bilateral MOU with the USA for “potential transfer” of certain third country Caricom nationals

St. Kitts and Nevis has negotiated and entered into an Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the United States of America (USA) for the potential transfer of “certain third country” Caribbean Community (Caricom) nationals.

 

Prime Minister, Dr. Terrance Drew, who is also Chairman of Caricom, explained this during his roundtable discussion with media on Jan. 8th.

 

 

Will St. Kitts & Nevis bear the costs, in terms of accommodating the Caricom nationals?  PM Drew told the media the following.
