SKN’s Prime Minister, the Hon. Dr. Terrance Drew, congratulated Bahamas’ Prime Minister, following the country’s May 12^th General Elections.

PM Drew said on social media, “I extend warm congratulations to Prime Minister Philip Brave Davis on his return as Prime Minister and to the Progressive Liberal Party on their victory in the General Elections in The Bahamas.”

PM Drew, who is also the Chairman of the Caribbean Community (Caricom), stated “as this new term begins, I look forward to continued collaboration between Saint Kitts and Nevis and The Bahamas, particularly as we continue working together within CARICOM to advance the shared interests and development of our region.”

Prime Minister Davis and his ruling Progressive Liberal Party (PLP) secured reelection Tuesday in a sweeping election victory, making Davis the first Bahamian leader in nearly 30 years to win a second consecutive term in office.
