Prime Minister, the Hon. Dr. Terrance Drew, has issued congratulations to the United States of America on behalf of the Government and people of Saint Kitts and Nevis, as the country celebrated its 250^th year of independence on July 4^th.

PM Drew said on social media “I join in celebrating a truly historic milestone as the United States marks 250 years of independence.”

He added “this anniversary is especially meaningful for us in St. Kitts and Nevis, as our shared history includes one of America’s Founding Fathers, Alexander Hamilton, who was born on Nevis before embarking on the journey that would shape the future of the United States.”

PM Drew also mentioned “I reaffirm the strong friendship between our nations and our shared commitment to peace, prosperity, security, and sustainable development.”
