SKN’s PM says, “No need to engage in impulsive buying” in the midst of CoVID-19
That’s Prime Minister, Dr. the Hon. Timothy Harris.
Following the announcement of St. Kitts and Nevis’ 8th case of the dreaded Coronavirus (CoVID-19), the Prime Minister on Monday evening, announced that the nation will be in “Total Lockdown” from Tuesday night at 7:00 p.m., to Friday, April 3rd, 2020 at 6:00 a.m.
In essence, supermarkets, stores etc. here in the Federation, will remain closed and all are asked to remain in their homes, during that period.
Essential Workers such as Police Officers, Fire Officers, Nurses and Doctors as well as Media Workers are permitted to carry out their duties.
The Prime Minister also urged that in spite of the “Lockdown” and the cases of the CoVID-19, enough food is in the federation.
