SKN’s populace encouraged to take precaution to protect themselves against Dengue Fever

She was at the time referring to the Dengue Fever disease and cases throughout the region.
St. Vincent & the Grenadines, Antigua & Barbuda and Barbados have reported cases of the Dengue Fever.
Also, during the course of the previous week, St. Kitts and Nevis saw an increase in rainfall.
Dengue Fever is a mosquito-borne tropical disease caused by the dengue virus.
Typically, symptoms begin three to fourteen days after infection. The symptoms may include a high fever, headache, vomiting, muscle and joint pains as well as a characteristic skin rash.
