Sneaker Day slated for Sep. 10th as part of activities for CWD
“Build in it together, Building healthy communities” is the 2021 theme for Caribbean Wellness Day, which will be celebrated on Saturday Sep. 11th.
Caribbean Wellness Day (CWD) is celebrated on the second Saturday in the month of September. The event is a call-to-action for engaging the population of a country, in confronting Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) and their risk factors.
As part of activities for the day, the Health Promotion Unit (HPU) on Nevis, will hold “Sneaker Day” 2021 on Friday Sep. 10th. Senior Health Educator at the Unit, Ms. Shevanee Nisbett, gave the VONNEWSLINE these details.
Ms. Nisbett went further to explain what businesses can do to help promote the event.
