SPISE open to Caribbean high school students

The Caribbean Science Foundation (CSF) is currently accepting applications for Caribbean high-school students interested in the Student Program for Innovation in Science and Engineering (SPISE).

The five-week residential summer program is geared towards students interested in studying Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) between the ages of 16 to 18 at the UWI Cape Hill Campus in Barbados.

The initiative has a long-term goal of helping to diversify the economies of the Region and raise the standard of living with more technology-based entrepreneurship within the region while its shorter-term goal is to help address the low numbers of Caribbean students pursuing advanced degrees in science and engineering and efficiently prepare the next generation of science, engineering, technology and business leaders in the Caribbean region.
