The Social Services Seniors Division on Nevis “Seniors Spelling Bee Competition took place on Tuesday October 22nd at the Nevis Performing Arts Centre (N.E.P.A.C.) at 5:30 p.m. This competition was split into three teams: the St. George’s & St. John’s Ocean View Group, the St. Paul’s & St. Thomas’ Morning Glory Group and the St. James Sunrise Group.

Coordinator of the Social Services Seniors Division, Trudy Prentice gave the VON Newsline the results of the event:

The scores were the St. George’s & St. John’s Ocean View winning with 190 points, St. Paul’s & St. Thomas’ Morning Glory 185 points and the St. James Sunrise Group with 160 points.
