St. Kitts and Nevis’ Electronic Travel Authorization System Launched on Monday May 26th, 2025

On Monday, May 26th, 2025, the Government of Saint Kitts and Nevis announced the launch of the federation’s new Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) System.

 

A St. Kitts Tourism Authority release stated, it will: “modernize the way visitors enter our beautiful twin-island nation, ensuring a seamless, efficient, and secure travel experience” as well as ensure safer borders and reinforce the security of visitors and citizens. The process will involve individuals filling out an online application and also provide documentation and basic travel details.

There is a discounted service charge of US$8.50, effective until September 1st, 2025, after which the charge is US $17.00. Citizens and residents of Saint Kitts and Nevis, and member states of the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) and Caribbean Community (CARICOM) are exempted from the charge.

 

Furthermore, citizens and residents of the federation as well as OECS member states are not required to apply for an eTA but is expected to complete the online Immigration and Customs ED Form at no cost.

 

To apply for the eTA or to access other travel forms, persons can use the new mobile application: St. Kitts and Nevis e-Border, or visit www.knatravelform.kn.
