The Embassy of Saint Christopher (Saint Kitts) and Nevis in the Republic of China (Taiwan) has been honoured with the “Most Outstanding Embassy” award at the 79th Golden Merchant Awards Ceremony, held on October 31, 2025, at the Howard Plaza Hotel in Taipei.

According to a release from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador His Excellency Donya L. Francis accepted the award in recognition of the Embassy’s visibility, impact, and continued efforts to strengthen bilateral relations between Saint Kitts and Nevis and Taiwan.

Information shared by the Ministry states that since assuming office in 2022, Ambassador Francis, as the nation’s youngest ambassador has focused on enhancing the Federation’s presence in Taiwan through trade, investment, and cultural initiatives.
