Against the backdrop of a Single use plastic ban, the Government of St. Kitts and Nevis, will be making further advancement in the development of clean renewable energy.

This would be in addition to previous clean renewable energy projects conducted on both islands including: the advancements to the Nevis Geothermal power plant, the island wide streetlight upgrade project by and the development of the largest solar generation and energy storage project in the Caribbean between SKELEC and Leclanché SA.
