St Kitts and Nevis to establish a New Magistrate Court

A third Magistrate’s court will be set up in St Kitts annex of the Sir Lee Llewellyn Moore Judicial and Legal Complex.

The court is scheduled to complete construction by the end of September 2020.

According to Attorney General the Honourable Vincent Byron Jr., the new court is believed to provide further assistance on matters as family court matters and traffic court matters.

His hope is to extend the operating hours of the court and implement a possible “Night Court” for individuals to attend court in the evening hours after work so as to not lose a pay day.
