St. Kitts and Nevis withdraws from the CARICOM Bubble

Prime Minister, Dr. the Hon. Timothy Harris.

The Prime Minister made the announcement on Tuesday evening (November 3^rd), during the “Leadership Matters” program.

This also comes on the heels of discussions with Cabinet and the National COVID-19 Task Force and after which, arrived at a consensus, to withdraw.

According to PM Harris, he advised CARICOM’s Secretary-General, Ambassador Irwin LaRocque, of the development.

The Prime Minister stated that to enter a bubble with countries at higher risk of COVID-19, would be imprudent:
