Motorists will see a further change in gas prices. It comes on the heels of information from the St. Kitts Department of Consumer Affairs. Consumer Affairs said on social media “the general public is advised of the maximum retail prices for Unleaded Gasoline as of April 28th 2026:”
SOL Service Stations – St. Kitts & Nevis: EC $18.01 per gal, DELTA Service Stations – St. Kitts: EC$18.01 per gal (actual price at the pump is $18.18). DELTA Service Stations – Nevis: EC $17.38 per gal. Prices are approved by the Ministry of Finance.
The prices for Sol SKN and Delta-St. Kitts, represent an EC 0.18 cent reduction compared to previous prices (as Apr. 22nd the prices were $18.19 for the service stations mentioned). Although there is a difference in Delta prices, St. Kitts Consumer Affairs said “pricing difference is due to a fuel shipment being received on Nevis and not in St. Kitts”.
The prices reflect the 50% reduction on Excise Tax and Customs Service Charge. On Apr. 14th, Prime Minister, the Hon. Dr. Terrance Drew, announced the excise tax on gasoline will be reduced to 50 percent from EC $1.95 per gallon to EC $0.98 cents per gallon until July 31st 2026 in the first instance. The measures come as SKN is experiencing the effects of the Middle East conflict.
