St. Kitts-Nevis to be represented at this year’s CARIFESTA celebration in Barbados
St. Kitts and Nevis will be represented at this year’s celebration off the Caribbean’s premier festival of arts and culture, CARIFESTA, scheduled for August 22nd to 31st, 2025, in Barbados. This year’s celebration will be held under the inspiring theme, “Caribbean Roots… Global Excellence.”
The Federation’s delegation, approximately 100 strong will represent a diverse cross-section of the nation’s creative talent, ready to showcase to the world the remarkable artistry and innovation of Saint Kitts and Nevis. Their participation will span the performing arts, visual arts, agro-processing, literary arts, crafts, fashion, cosmetic arts, folklore, heritage, and film.
Additionally, the Ministry of Small Business, Creative Economy, et.al hosted a Press Conference on Thursday about the federation’s participation
Among the dignitaries in attendance were Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education, Hon. Dr. Geoffrey Hanley, and Minister of the Creative Economy, Hon. Samal Duggins, who both expressed pride and optimism for the delegation’s participation in the cultural gathering.
