St. Kitts records significant increases in Air and Sea Arrivals in 2024 – 2025 Peak Tourist Season

On Tuesday April 29th, Federal Minister of Tourism, the Hon. Marsha Henderson gave insights into recent developments and accomplishments in the tourism sector in St. Kitts.

 

Statistics were given on the increase in Air and Sea arrivals of travellers of the tourism peak season (October 2024 to April 2025).

 

For air, there were 46,641 arrivals that is a 15% increase from 40,476 arrivals in 2024 for the period of January to March.

 

Also from November 2024 to March 2025, there were 78,077 air arrivals. This exceeds pre-pandemic figures showcasing recovery after the Covid 19 Pandemic.

 

In cruise passengers, there occurred an 8% increase of 748,056 sea arrivals in the October 2024 to April 2025 period. The previous figure was 690,244 for the preceding season.

 

Minister Henderson attributed the growth to herself and her teams work in route expansion and route development in air travel, as well as the work of the Ministry of Tourism, sister agencies and industry partners to enhance guest experience, port facilities and ensure visitor satisfaction.
