The St. Kitts Sea Turtle Monitoring Network invites the general public to recognize the various sea turtles species during this week dubbed: ‘Sea Turtle Week’. 

Recognized from June 8^th to 16^th, the week dedicates each day to a species of sea turtle such as the Green Hawks Bill and Leatherback Sea Turtles disseminating information on their life styles, habitats and wellness status in various countries around the world that monitor them.  

On St. Kitts, the Sea Turtle Monitoring Network will be holding a variety of activities relating to sea turtles such as a painting party. 

The Network is a Non- profit organisation that monitors the various nesting turtle species on St. Kitts such as the Leatherback and Green Sea Turtles and shares their monitored information with other countries tracking the animals around the world. 

Sea Turtle Week culminates on World Sea Turtle Day, on Thursday, June 16^th, 2022.
