Students encouraged to apply for QEC Scholarship

Tertiary students in St. Kitts and Nevis currently have the opportunity to apply for the Queen Elizabeth Commonwealth Scholarship (QECS) through the Association of Commonwealth Universities.

The aim of the initiative is to help scholars bring about positive change and find solutions to the shared challenges in their home countries and those that host them. The scholarship offers recipients the oppurtunity to pursue a two-year master degree in a low or middle income Commonwealth country. Countries available for studies include: Fiji, Samoa, Vanuatu and South Africa.

Benefits of the scholarships include: fully-funded tuition fee, living allowance for duration of award, return economy flights to host country and research Support Grant which is on request only and subject to approval. Applicants should review current available courses, destinations and entry requirements for each university available.
