Tabasco Pepper Project: “We do hope to be planting the first hundred acres of peppers” says St. Kitts’ Agriculture Minister
That was Federal Minister of Agriculture, the Hon. Samal Duggins responding to an inquiry, on when farmers and other stakeholders who want to participate in the Tabasco Pepper Project would receive communication from the Ministry of Agriculture.
The Tabasco Pepper Project is an agreement between the Government of Saint Kitts and Nevis and McIlhenny, the owner of the popular hot sauce brand: TABASCO®.
It is a part of the Sustainable Economic Expansion and Diversification (SEED) initiative, with the goal of diversifying the nation’s economy and decrease dependence, on the Citizenship by Investment (CBI) Programme.
