Following Prime Minister Dr. Timothy Harris’ call at the UN General Assembly on Sep. 24^th, for the inclusion of the Republic of China (Taiwan), in the international community, Nevis’ Premier and Minister of Foreign Affairs & Aviation, stated that ROC (Taiwan) is our “best friend.”

In an interview on Sep. 25^th, with the Executive Editor of  WION TV, Palki Sharma, to discuss a issues surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, the growing Indian community in St. Kitts and Nevis etc, Minister Mark Brantley explained why Taiwan is such a friend.

Taiwan was the first country to build diplomatic relations with the Federation of St. Kitts & Nevis, on Sept. 19^th 1983 (SKN’s Independence).

Mr. Brantley also said that the Federation is open for business to the Indian community.
