The Charlestown Primary School (CPS) hosted a House Pageant and Christmas Extravaganza on Friday, December 6th, 2024 at the Nevis Cultural Complex, under the theme: “Holistically Shaping Young Minds as Future Ambassadors for Our Nation” where blue house emerged the overall winners.
Six contestants competed in teams of two, forming 3 teams.
Contestants #1, representing Red Falcons, were Bomani Alexander and Donnequah Delashley, Contestants #2, Blue Lightning, were Zakeem Bailey and Khalysha Gerald and Contestants #3, Green Giants, were Zyjon Richardson and J’Zaria Gajor.
The aim of the pageant was to help the students grow and develop their public speaking, onstage presentation and build their appreciation for pageantry.
Segments included: an Icebreaker, Sports Personality (which focused on recognizing the contributions to CPS by past students from the various team colours), Rising Star Talent and Royal Sports Awards Wear and Evening Wear.
Green House won the Sports Personality award. The talent segment winner was Blue House who also won the Royal Sports Award /Evening Wear.
Red House was dubbed Mr. & Miss Photogenic, Green House was voted Mr. & Miss Popular and Mr. & Miss CPS 2024 went to Blue House.
