The Ministry of Agriculture in partnership with the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) has presented ten farmers on Nevis with a 1,000-gallon tank each.
The presentation was made on Friday, November 3rd, 2023. Present at the event was Minister of Agriculture, Hon. Eric Evelyn, officials from the ministry along with the recipients. The initiative is in connection with the FAO’s mandate to assist stakeholders such as farmers to adapt to the changing climate and the challenges it poses to food production and security.
