Term 2 of Academic year commences, early dismissal of public schools to continue on Wednesdays
Monday, January 4th, 2021 marked the commencement of Term 2 of the 2020-2021 Academic year here in St. Kitts and Nevis.
Term 1 of the 2020-2021 Academic year began on Monday, September 7th, 2020 and ended on Friday, December 4th, 2020.
In light of the start of Term 2, one initiative the Department of Education here on Nevis will continue to roll out is the Early Dismissal of public schools on Wednesdays.
All public primary schools will dismiss at 2:00 p.m. while parents of children attending public pre-schools are asked to collect their children by 2:00 p.m. and the Gingerland Secondary School (GSS) will dismiss at 3:20 p.m.
However, the Charlestown Secondary School (CSS) will not have an early dismissal and will dismiss at its usual time.
