The impact of AI in Nevis’ schools: is it cheating or not?

Artificial intelligence (AI) continues to be among the conversation among many persons, education officials and employers.
AI is technology that enables computers and machines to simulate human learning, comprehension, problem solving, decision making, creativity and autonomy.
AI has even enabled search engines (such as Google), to have a “AI overview” for example. This allows a person to get a general idea of what they inputted in the search bar, rather than searching at various websites for the same thing.
Even potential employees are using AI to write resumes. But is it cheating? What impact is it having on the schools? Principal Assistant Secretary, Jamir Claxton, mentioned this during the NIA’s “Government at Work” program on VON Radio.
