The Department of Community Development on Nevis will be conducting a Christmas Passport Competition. Deputy Director, Denesia Smithen, shared that the goal is “to foster community support, participation or spirit and healthy competition
The passports are already available and can be collected at the department’s office located at the Evelyn Henville Building in Charlestown.
Persons are asked to attend as many Christmas Tree Lightings around the island as possible and stamp their passport during the period of December 1st to December 24th. The top five persons to attend the most Christmas Tree lightings will receive prizes. All passports must be returned on or before Friday 27th December 2024 at 12:00 p.m. and winners will be announced the same day.
The first Christmas Tree lighting is slated for December 4th dubbed “Christmas in the Capital” located at Memorial Square. For more information contact 469 5521 EXT.’s 6461, 6462, 6464.
