TS Peter faces “no major threat” to SKN, NEMA says
In a public announcement issued by the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), the St. Kitts and Nevis Met Office have discontinued monitoring Tropical Storm (TS) Peter.
According to NEMA, “there is no longer any major threat from Tropical Storm Peter at this point, however, there may be some lingering moisture in the atmosphere as Peter exists the monitoring area.”
No watches nor warnings are in effect for St. Kitts and Nevis and none will again be required for this system.
Tropical Storm Peter was the 15th named storm for the 2021 Atlantic Hurricane Season, which ends on November 30th.
