Two Bills were passed in the Nevis Island Assembly during a Sitting on Thursday August 24th.

The Sitting saw the Premier of Nevis and Minister of Finance, the Hon. Mark Brantley, moving the second and third readings for two Bills.

The Bills were: the Nevis Business Corporation (Amendment) Bill, 2023 and the Nevis Limited Liability Company (Amendment) Bill, 2023.

Nevis Business Corporation (Amendment) Bill, 2023 is to amend the Nevis Business Corporation Ordinance Cap. 7.01 and for matters related thereto and connected therewith.

Nevis Limited Liability Company (Amendment) Bill, 2023, is to amend to the Nevis Limited Liability Ordinance Cap. 7.04 and for matters related thereto and connected therewith. This was broadcast live on VON Radio 860AM and vonradio.com.
