A tragic fire incident occurred here on Nevis, on Monday October 10^th authorities have told the VONNEWSLINE. 

Sometime during the afternoon hours, personnel from the Fire and Rescue Services responded to a report of a house fire, “in the vicinity of the Charlestown Primary School (CPS), in Ramsbury”, Divisional Fire Commander of the Nevis Fire Department says. 

The wooden structure was completely engulfed in flames, based on videos and photos circulating on social media.  

A police spokesperson has also informed the VONNEWSLINE that there were two casualties. Furthermore, one person has been hospitalized. 

What caused the fire, who caused it and the circumstances surrounding the incident are being investigated by the authorities.
