A “serious” wounding incident occurred at a residence in Amory Drive, Camps, St. Kitts, during the morning hours of Tuesday Mar. 10th. Police confirmed later that day, it was a domestic violence incident.
A release from the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force indicate that lawmen responded to reports of a disturbance at approximately 7 AM.
Upon arrival, officers learned that Mrs. Anita Dupont of Amory Drive, Camps had sustained injuries and had already been transported by Emergency Medical Services to the Joseph N. France General Hospital for medical treatment.
Subsequently, officers gained entry to the residence where entrepreneur Mr. Carlton Dupont, also of Amory Drive, was found inside the home with injuries. He was transported by ambulance shortly thereafter to the JNF General Hospital for medical treatment. Both individuals remain hospitalized and are reported to be in stable condition.
Investigations into the domestic violence incident are ongoing.
