Two Men Charged in Separate Attempted Murder Cases in St. Kitts and Nevis

Police have charged two men in separate attempted murder investigations stemming from incidents that occurred earlier this month in St. Kitts and Nevis.

 

The Criminal Investigation Department charged Clifford Veira Warner of Manchester Avenue, St. Kitts, with attempted murder. Warner was arrested and charged on a Warrant in the First Instance on July 9th, 2026, at the Cotton Ground Police Station. The charge relates to an incident that allegedly occurred on July 5th, at Pinney’s Beach, Nevis.

 

In a separate case, officers from the Criminal Investigation Department’s Division B charged Zakimba Weekes of Tabernacle, St. Kitts, with attempted murder and wounding with intent to inflict grievous bodily harm.

 

Weekes was arrested and charged on July 9th, 2026, at the Basseterre Police Station on two Warrants in the First Instance. The charges stem from an incident that reportedly occurred on July 6th.

 

Police have not released further details about either investigation.
