Two non-fatal vehicular accidents reported in St. Kitts on Monday

The VONNEWSLINE has received information on two non-fatal accidents on Monday, August 7th, 2023.

 

 

 

In the first accident, motorcycle PB 7204 driven by Clayton Davis of Palmetto Point collided with a traffic sign poll on the sea side of the road and fell off of his motorcycle. Mr. Davis was transported to the Joseph N. France General Hospital via ambulance for treatment. He is listed as being in serious condition and is currently warded at the Intensive Care Unit.

 

 

 

Later that day, one vehicle P 6565 owned and driven by Mr. Joe Imo of Frigate Bay was involved in a singular vehicle accident. Preliminary investigations indicate that while travelling from Central Basseterre to Frigate Bay, Mr. Imo lost control of his car and collided to a pole. The vehicle flipped, rolled, and came to rest on its right side on the southern lawn near the roundabout. Investigations into the incident are ongoing.

 

 

 

Mr. Imo sustained lacerations to the head and face. He was transported to the Joseph N. France General Hospital by EMS and was treated at the Accident & Emergency Department. He is currently on the Medical Ward and is listed as being in stable condition.
